All Lou Dungate pieces are made with yarns spun in a family-owned mill in Italy that is over 50 years old. The company is committed to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards of cashmere production, and is a member of the Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers Institute Committee - an association that safeguards prized textile fibres around the world.
Lou Dungate focuses on the sole use of 100% natural and high quality materials, that are produced with minimal impacts on the environment. Each piece is made using fully-fashioned knitting machines that virtually eliminate waste yarn.
The paper tags used on Lou Dungate products are fully recyclable and biodegradable, made with pulp from well-managed forests.
